Grandparents & Kids Summer Camp

Introduce your grandchildren to camp this summer and make memories that will last a lifetime! Grandchildren will be integrated into cabin groups in the morning while Grandparents have an opportunity to hike, study scripture, take a nap, or volunteer around camp.

In the afternoon you can splash and swim together in the pool, take a hike, play games, or do some crafts. Grandchildren can also choose to join cabin groups for time at the climbing wall or at the lake. Spend your evenings with other campers around the fire and learn songs that you will sing together for years to come!

Tier 1 Fee

We understand that each family has differing financial abilities, so we offer a voluntary, two-tiered pricing structure.

Tier 1 pricing most accurately reflects the actual cost of camp. We ask families to pay this amount if they have the financial means.

Tier 2 pricing is subsidized by 30% through donations from individuals, congregations, and synods. This amount is for families who still want to participate in a camp program, yet may need the financial subsidy to make camp affordable.

Grandparents and grandchildren will stay in Priebe, our air-conditioned retreat center with twin beds, showers, and bathrooms. If you have more than one grandchild, you will be in separate rooms next door to each other. Priebe also has a living room and kitchenette.

We do not want cell phones to detract from the camp experience. Camp is a great place for campers to unplug and spend time in an intentional community.

Any campers who bring cell phones or other valuables will need to turn them in to staff for safe keeping. They will be returned at check-out.

Campers will not have access to their phones. We ask for your partnership in helping your camper unplug for the week.

You will be responsible for dispensing any medications for yourself or other family members. When not in your controlled possession, medications need to be stored in a locked container.

Staff members are trained in basic first aid for emergencies.

A health form must be completed online or mailed in 2 weeks prior to camp. A parent signature is required.
